Waiting On Wednesday – All The Ways The World Can End

waiting on wednesday (2)Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. The aim is to let everyone know what book or books you are anticipating this week!

All The Ways The World Can End by Abby Sher

Lenny (short for Eleanor) feels like the world is about to end. Her best friend is moving to New York City to attend Julliard and her dad has terminal cancer. To cope with her stress Lenny is making a list of all the ways the world can end—designer pathogens, blood moon prophecies, alien invasion—and stockpiling supplies in a bunker in the backyard. Then she starts to develop feelings for her dad’s very nice young doctor—and she thinks he may have feelings for her too. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t. But a more age-appropriate love interest might. In a time of complete uncertainty, one thing’s for sure: Lenny’s about to see how everything is ending and beginning. All at the same time.

This book sounds so interesting. I’m pretty sure I requested it from Netgalley (but who can really keep track at this point). Just a quick update – I’ve been really slack with my posting recently. I had my exams in May so that was my excuse then and I’ve just got a full time job for over Summer. I’m trying to learn to manage my time better and plan out my blog posts so if anyone has any tips that would be much appreciated!

  1. This book sounds quite interesting! And oh, I hope you did well on your exams, and good luck with your job!

(Some tips for planning your posts are writing down ideas for posts the month before, and then when it’s nearing that month, you can form it into a schedule, if that makes sense.)

    • Thank you so much! It’s so exhausting but it’s going well so far. Thanks for the tips I’m trying to write up drafts at weekends because that seems to be the only time I have any sort of energy at the minute 😂 !

  2. Ohh, this book sounds quite good, thank you so much for sharing! 🙂
I hope you did well on your exams and best of luck for your job! ❤ Time-management definitely is needed in these times: write down your ideas, try and put aside time each day or week dedicated to each thing: writing a blog post, commenting, etc etc. Being organized is key, at least for me. Good luck 😀
